exhaust elbow

Hi I have a VW 100-5 tdi, I had noticed a few drops of water coming from where the exhaust elbow is connected to the
the turbo body, I removed the clamp that holds the elbow to the turbo body and looked inside the turbo and that all seems dry,
i looked inside the elbow and this was wet at the upper part, I have removed the elbow completely and cleaned it as it was
full of salt, i also checked for a crack inside but all is ok, i have put the elbow back on and still get a few drops of water
collecting in the bottom of the white clamp, I think this is only happening when the boat is in idle, is this normal to have
this small amount of water this far up so close to the turbo, the only thing I have done to the boat is moved the sea stainer up 30mm when fitting the aqua alarm.
If anyone gets a chance could they have a look inside their exhaust elbow after a couple of mins idling and let me know if
the top of the elbow is wet or dry.
